Vermouth is an aperitif wine, being a drink that with its slightly bittersweet character stimulates the appetite.

Tasting a wine is submitting it to our senses, particularly taste and smell, to determine its quality. Although, it must not be forgotten that sight, touch and even hearing are also involved in the tasting. Therefore, tasting a wine consists of analyzing it according to three basic questions:
1.- Visual analysis: color, transparency, brightness, intensity, nuances of the pigment and bubble formation.
2.- Analysis of the aromas: fruity, floral, herbaceous, toasted and spicy, assessing their cleanliness, complexity and intensity.
3.- Analysis of the sensations in the mouth: acidity, sweet impressions, astringency given by the tannins, matter and body, balance, persistence of the aromas, etc.
